Nehar Sahibi is a 10-acre farm in Najafgarh, one of Delhi’s birding hotspots. Birdwatching is an activity and yet it is a friendly competition between expert birders, which makes it one of the most popular wildlife and nature enthusiast communities. The community is larger than ever now with a multitude of database apps that identify and collect information about birds with your help. Birdwatching is a relaxing activity for all people interested, from experts who refuse to wear anything other than camouflage clothing, to families, teens, and adults who want to try out a new hobby.
Butterfly Watching
Experience butterfly watching at Nehar Sahibi farm. The farm hosts more than 30 species of butterfly. Get hands-on experience in the rearing of butterflies and also learn about their lifecycle. Learn about host plants and their interaction with butterflies. Also, learn how to set up a butterfly garden at your home with our experts. You may also buy hostplants from our native nursery. Some of the species at the farm are Lime swallowtail, Common Mormon, Small Banded Swift, Plain tiger, Plain's Cupid, and Lemon Pansy.
Herpetology Walks
At Nehar Sahibi we are maintaining a balance in flora and fauna, which has helped several reptile species to make their home at the farm. One can witness species of snakes such as the Indian Cobra, Common Krait, Indian Rat Snake, Indian Sand Boa, Wolf Snake, etc. Interestingly Nehar sahibi hosts 5 species of frogs among the 8 species found in Delhi. In addition, species of lizards such as the Oriental Garden Lizard, Bengal Monitor Lizard, and Aravalli Gecko are also found at Nehar Sahibi.

Delhi Earth Walks

Seed Germination Workshop
Learn nursery techniques at our Native nursery, where we are involved in native species of flora. We are inclined towards germination of native species which are important for local habitat. They support various faunal species. Come and learn the crucial steps in growing these declining species. We have more than 40 species of native flora at our nursery which we grow without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Vegetable & Organic Farming
Experience vegetable and organic farming at Nehar Sahibi.
At Nehar Sahibi we are dedicated to Permaculture techniques. Where we try that no waste should be generated. We consume the farm's natural veggies. People can visit us and learn the techniques of gardening where we use only natural products such as Leaf fertilizer. We avoid every kind of chemical and pesticide so that we can grow the freshest and healthiest of the veggies in Delhi NCR.

Whether you’re in the mood for a picnic, a birdwatching experience, nature walks, or just a day out without phones and screens, and walls, our staff will arrange it for you and your loved ones. You are also welcome to explore our farm and the replantation projects we have initiated. Whether you want to play board games, or spend the day painting or playing music, the farm is your playground to do as you like.
Nehar Sahibi caters to all kinds of visitors. Sometimes what a corporate office needs is to dive into the world of nature to connect with each other on a more earthly level. We will plan day-long retreats for nature-centric meetings between professionals, and visitor groups from offices, businesses, and organizations.
